Manager Talent Insights (People Analytics)
This position can be located in the Indianapolis, IN, Mason, OH
or Atlanta, GA office
The Manager Talent Insights is responsible for leading a team of data scientists and business intelligence experts to develop and execute an integrated HR data strategy. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Engages a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders to achieve commitment and buy-in to implementation of data and analytics initiatives.
Develops, implements and evolves an overall HR data and technology strategy and roadmap to ensure people analytics deliverables are robust, relevant, efficient and secure.
Collaborates with Enterprise Data and Analytics, HR Operations and other internal partners and external vendors to evaluate data and analytics solutions.
Contributes to Talent Insights strategy by delivering direct-service data and analytics solutions.
Leads data governance and partners with stakeholders to resolve data issues and business processes.
Prioritizes and aligns goals and resources to focus on the most critical projects and tasks.
Advises on evolving data architecture needs and emerging knowledge/skill sets required for success.
Builds analytical capability and perspectives across HR by coaching and enabling partners with technology and training.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Lead team of data engineers, data managers and data scientists to leverage best-in-class data and analytics solutions to support HR analytics deliverables.
Develop a data and technology strategy and roadmap to integrate, transform and blend HR data to support automated analytics deliverables, including scorecards, dashboards, trended analytics, augmented analytics, text analytics and machine learning.
Partner with internal data and analytics teams, HR operations, IT and others to maximize the data infrastructure and roadmap.
Fully leverage Oracle or Workday analytics and other data tools, solutions and platforms, such as: REST API, SFTP, Alteryx, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Python.
Integrate, transform and automate all survey response data with Peoplesoft or Workday data (e.g., other sentiment/surveys, recognition, learning, benchmarking).
Partner with HRIS and COE business process owners on data governance and data standards to ensure HR data is accurate, complete and secure.
Partner with COE business process owners to appropriately integrate and automate appropriate non-Peoplesoft data (data elements from Learning, Impact, Fieldglass, ServiceNow, etc.).
Lead data automation efforts by staying abreast of latest data tools and approaches and providing guidance relative to data engineering and automation practices.
Partner with all members of the Talent Insights team to provide business intelligence solutions to support ad hoc data projects, visualization, survey dashboards, etc. to HRBP, HR COE and Leader customers
Requires BA/BS in HR, Business Administration, or Analytics related field and 7-10 years' related experience in human capital analytics, including 5 years managing analytical teams and/or HR shared services areas focused on enabling clients with data and insights, or any combination of experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Masters with emphasis in measurement and quantitative methods preferred.
Preferred knowledge of Oracle and/or Workday human capital management systems and cloud-based data warehousing and analytics tools, such as AWS, Alteryx, SFTP, API, Python and R.
HR Data Analysis and HR systems experience preferred.
Data engineering and/or data management experience preferred.
