What We're Looking For:

A Manager on the Recruiting team who will drive the design and delivery of 2U’s Talent Brand, Campus Hiring, and our Internship program.  The Manager will report to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and will need to be capable of collaborating with cross functional groups, 2U leadership, and their fellowrecruiting team to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: 

Recruitment Branding

  • Develop, define, and convey the employer brand and value proposition for 2U.  Help uncover and promote the differentiating factors that make 2U a great place to work
  • Development and implement innovative recruitment marketing and communications strategies that bring the Employer Value Proposition to life
  • Create and disseminate team-specific communication and job templates for Recruiting team to share with candidates and pipeline
  • Create and implement department “stories” for the recruiting team to use to drive external market awareness in high growth areas demanding increased hiring
  • Provide active support in designing, executing and evaluating employer branding and recruitment campaigns
  • Develop strategy to partner with University Relations on digitalevent promotion to increase awareness and attendance at recruiting events
  • Highlight partner program’s students’ stories to improve company mission awareness
  • Work closely with the corporate Communications team to leverage candidate-facing communications, social media, and video to convey the corporate culture and employee experience
  • Working closely with Communications team to provide content in order to drive a consistent look and feel across digital platforms (2U careers website, LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Facebook, etc.)
  • Monitor and measure the impact and effectiveness of employer branding activities, generate performance reports on a timely basis, and ensure maximum impact through click rates and continuous improvement of branding and sourcing efforts
  • Monitor and respond to Glassdoor reviews with VP, TA and Communications oversight
  • Research, evaluate, and present new ideas, processes, technology to improve talent branding efforts

Campus Recruiting Operations

  • Develop, implement and execute undergraduaterecruitment strategy
  • Manage the internbudget for each department and determine headcount
  • Collaborate and partner with department heads & hiring managers to discuss internship positions and needs at our 4 largest offices (DC, NY, CA, NC)
  • Identify/clarify hiring specifications, ensure accurate and detailed job descriptions, and develop action plans to maximize candidate sourcing
  • Posting positions on the 2U career site, local universities sites and any intern-specific job boards
  • Building and maintaining pipeline of candidates for internships in future semesters
  • Developing awareness of 2U through planning for and attending regional and local job & college fairs
  • Identify 2U employees to participate in recruiting events for internships and entry-level positions
  • Create and arrange internevents every semester that embody the 2U spirit, e.g. "Internpalooza"
  • Collaborate with department heads, hiring managers, and the recruiting team to identify full-time job opportunities within 2U for graduating interns
  • With management approval create, generate and make job offers and assist with onboarding process
  • Support onboarding and orientation for interns

Things That Should Be in Your Background: 

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired; Master’s degree a plus
  • 5-7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Campus and temporary employment recruiting experiencerequired
  • Corporate recruiting experiencerequired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
