Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Manager drives full-cycle recruiting efforts for Horizon’s Commercial areas, leading activities from requirement definition through offer negotiation and hire. This position is responsible for delivering strategic and tactical recruiting support for Horizon’s talent needs. This person is the main point of contact for internal clients and works with senior management to plan and execute the hiring strategy for commercial organization. This person will provide direction to support team for commercial organization

Responsibilities:

  • Leader in developing talent acquisition strategy for hiring all levels within the Commercial organization
  • Execute innovative and cost effective talent acquisition strategies for Horizon to attract, hire and retain motivated people
  • Full-cycle recruitment for Commercial organization
  • Collaborates with Human Resource partners, Business leaders and HR COE partners to understand skill requirements, background and experience needed
  • Based on market knowledge/research, external network and existing internal programs, the TA Manager will provide comprehensive internal and external recruitment strategy to meet demand plan
  • Play a key role in delivering the organization's commitment to diversity and inclusion. This individual will leverage their D&I expertise to lead the development of a sourcing strategy, and associated programs and practices that will attract a diverse workforce
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement to keep the function ahead of the game in terms of process, sourcing and technology innovation, and through proactive reporting and metrics to drive hiring manager and candidate satisfaction while improving time to fill, candidate flow and quality
  • Partners with key leaders on organization and job design, ensuring that Horizon is able to achieve key business results in a rapidly changing external environment
  • Provide direction and guide work of other Talent Acquisition team members
  • Select and manage third-party vendors

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • 8+ years of full lifecycle recruitment experience in a competitive, fast paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degreerequired
  • Strong track record of sourcing and recruiting in the Healthcare/ Life Sciences market preferred
  • Strong assessment skills to evaluate candidate’s business capabilities, commercial background and key behaviors
  • Strong skills in driving and owning the TA process ensuring candidate and hiring manager satisfaction
  • Experience in D&I sourcing strategy, programs and practices
  • Professional, accountable, high energy and collaborative team player
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build professional relations across all levels of the business, including business acumen with Senior Executives
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity in an ever-changing environment, subject to shifting demands and business goals
  • Consultative customer service mindset
  • Excellent project leader and organizational skills, and meets deadlines in a timely manner
  • Strong Recruitment system acumen
  • Knowledge of interviewing principles and employment law
