JOB SUMMARY:

Job Description:

JOB ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø  Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values

Ø  Ensure proper maintenance and camera coverage in the casino

Ø  Ensure training of all surveillance department staff in Internal Control Procedures and electronic surveillance operations

Ø  Ensure proper maintenance of all shift activity reporting procedures

Ø  Maintain appropriate interface with the Executive Director and representatives of the Tribal Gaming Commission to include timely and accurate submission of all required reports

Ø  Responsible for, or actively participates in, the initiation of personnel actions including but not limited to: interviews, training, candidate selection, terminations, performance reviews, promotions, transfers and disciplinary actions

Ø  Coordinates Surveillance operations with other departments to ensure the highest degree of regulatory compliance, asset protection and efficient operation

Ø  Strives to improve and streamline departmental operations through the continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes and program effectiveness/value

Ø  Responsible for, or actively participates in, the initiation of personnel actions including but not limited to: interviews, training, candidate selection, terminations, performance reviews, promotions, transfers, service culture and disciplinary actions

Ø Train subordinates, providing each with the knowledge, development and appropriate direction to perform his/her responsibilities

Ø Exhibit sound decision-making with emphasis on motivating team and maintaining high morale

Ø  Provide continuous positive coaching for development of employees and appropriate correction action when necessary

Ø  Ensure timely and accurate performance appraisals and accurate work history entries

Ø  Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions.

Ø  Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees 

Ø  Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner




Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ø  BSBA from an accredited educational institution  required

Ø  Four  years’ experience in electronic surveillance operations in a casino environment required

Ø   Four years’ experience in security/law enforcement operations preferred

Ø   Two year’ supervisory experience required

Ø  Must complete Manager Lap—score of low/fail may result in a position bypass

Ø  Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:

Ø  In-depth knowledge of methods of detection for cheating and scams in casino operations

Ø  In-depth knowledge of all Tribal Gaming Commission Internal Control Procedures relating to surveillance operations

Ø  Excellent oral and written communication

Ø  Knowledgeable of gaming laws and regulations

Ø  Demonstrated successful change management efforts

Ø  Record of strong leadership effectiveness

Ø  Demonstrated teamwork behaviors and attitudes

Ø  Demonstrate excellent facilitator skills in resolving conflicts

Ø  Must be able to prioritize, direct and monitor multiple tasks and assignments

Ø  Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Ø  Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene

Ø  Ability to work independently
