The Manager, Strategic Partnerships – Sales Support will be responsible for providing critical support to senior-level members of the Strategic Partnerships team responsible for revenue generation across Intersport’s portfolio of portfolio of owned-and-operated live sports and lifestyle properties and media assets airing on broadcast, sports, and digitalnetworks. The right candidate will have proven success in a sponsorship and/or media sales support function.

The Manager, Strategic Partnerships – Sales Support will assist sales efforts across Intersport’s portfolio:
• Professional football
– NFL “Championship Chase” series (“Wildcard Weekend,” “Legends of the Playoffs,” “Conference Supremacy” programs)
– “Pro Football’s 10 Greatest” program
• College football
– “Under Armour All-America High School Football Game” platform
– “State Farm All-Star Football Challenge” event
– ”College Football’s 10 Greatest” program
• College basketball
– “State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships” event
– “American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships” event
– “Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship” event

Sales Planning and Targeting
• Help manage revenue generation plan with the specific Strategic Partnerships sales lead on each platform within the portfolio
• Build and manage sales target lists for each property based on research and historical data
• Prospect and scour media to generate leads/targets for sales outreach
• Provide desk research to actively inform sales leads and improve sales effectiveness

Sales Coordination
• Manage internal CRM and sales activity tracking systems and coordinate planning of sales outreach among team members

Sales and Marketing Support
• With direction from senior team members, develop property overviews, executive summaries, sponsor benefit summaries, custom sales packages, and other supporting documents
• Build and revise presentation decks and proposals to persuasively communicate Intersport’s strategic partnership offerings, custom to each client/prospect
• Work with Insights and Strategy team to develop presentations that leverage client-/partner-specific research on the pre-sales process
• Work with Insights and Strategy team to develop pre- and post-sales process effectiveness tools including sponsorship and media asset valuations and measurement and ROI analysis
• Work with Creative team to develop sales tools including property-specific video sizzle reels and graphics and client-/prospect-specific graphics and video recaps
• Provide administration support and prep and follow-up materials for prospect/client meetings

Event Execution
• Assist in the oversight of property events including coordination between Intersport departments and external prospects/clients
• Coordinate client engagements opportunities (e.g. dinners, visits to property events, etc.)

Team Management
• Work collaboratively with all members of integrated team
• Manage, train, and mentor junior-level staff in sales support and partner servicing roles

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years’ full-time experience in property/event sponsorship sales and/or marketing
• Experience with sponsorship, media, experiential/event activation, hospitality, digital and social media
• Strong interest in the sales process
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills with high-level presentation ability
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel
• Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively in an entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to travel for business on trips typically lasting between two to five days
