oversee and manage all aspects of the North America Talent Acquisition team including day-to-day operations, employment branding, measuring, program and vendor management. We are looking for a results driven candidate to lead this strategic role.

Your Key Responsibilities Would Include:


  • Hire, train, motivate and manage the Talent Acquisition Team; ensure team's engagement, workflow and service delivery
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively work to promote and recognize performance
  • Ensure EEO compliance and appropriate outreach to protected classes
  • Develop and rollout curriculum to train not only managers, but hiring teams on interview strategy and etiquette
  • Proficient and effective employer branding via all channels of social media
  • Revamp Infinera's Employee Referral program to attract top talent through existing employee's network
  • Develop and manage relationships with third party recruitment and staffing agencies, maintaining SLAs
  • Partner with Legal Department in keeping recruiting document control and offer templates current
  • Manage New Hire Orientation program, ensuring process and materials are engaging to integrate new hires to Infinera
  • Engage in University Relations as needed
  • Create a dashboard of salient metrics to track and continuously improve Infinera's recruiting effectiveness


Education & Experience Necessary for Success:

  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • A passion for talent acquisition, with a minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience required
  • Strong project management/organizational skills with strong attention to detail, people, systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with specialized sourcing strategies to proactively build candidate pipelines that generate sufficient quantity and quality to meet business in a cost-effective manner
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to discern scalable talent
  • Demonstrated vendor and client management skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management
  • Demonstrated command of all steps in the full life cycle of recruiting
  • A strong understanding of current employment regulations and compliance issues
  • Adjusts easily to change, learns quickly, and understands how internal and external factors impact decisions
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a constantly changing environment with enthusiasm
