The Manager, Service Lines and Cost Accounting is responsible for:
- Supporting the analytics of all Clinical Institutes/Service Lines for all business lines in partnership with the Service Line leadership team, enabling integrated data assessment across the impacted patient populations to drive improved outcomes and process improvements throughout the Clinical Institutes/Service Lines.
- The manager is also responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuous improvement of the cost accounting process, strategy, and data integrity for all business lines in a manner that supports the organization's commitment to accurate costing.
- In addition, the manager is responsible to ensure the cost accounting process continues to generate accurate data for margin analysis and service line and other analytics support.
- Maintains a collaborative working relationship with leaders across the organization including clinical operations, information services, financial services, quality and data reporting, and revenue cycle to identify sustainable data models, preferred financial reporting capabilities, and ensure data integrity within the Finance and Service Line space.
- Responsible for consistent data and reporting availability, analytics as requested, training and support for net new services and dashboards, as well as other financial and service line support services and projects as determined by senior leadership.
- Policy and procedure implementation and standardization across all system cost accounting users, team professional development and goal achievement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- 7 years Healthcare
- 5 years Service Line Reporting and Analytics
- 2 years Management
- 2 years Finance
- Preferred: 5 years Management, 5 years Finance
Required Education:- Bachelor's Degree: Accounting/Finance, Data Science/Information Systems, Health Admin or Related field.
- Preferred: Masters in related field
