What does a great Manager, Security Engineering do at Fiserv?

You’ll be responsible for managing a global team of security professionals charged with implementing perimeter security technology controls and processes in order to directly secure customer financial transactions and meet various industry compliances. You’re the kind of person who has:

Created and executing on a security focused staffing plan based on diverse projects in a several hundred thousand hour portfolio largely occupied with direct to market/consumer product efforts.

Led engineers contributing to security related requirements, design, execution and the operational support model.

Developed direct relationships with leaders of various Fiserv products as well as other technology leaders in the Fiserv Enterprise Technology Group.

Participated in selecting next generation security controls and strategies and manage a team of engineers charged with architecting, designing and implementing the strategies that are directly consumed by Fiserv customers.

Oversight of complex designs covering a global footprint of many large 24x7x365 data centers containing highly sensitive and confidential data.

Proven ability to manage, motivate and lead a global team

Able to manage upwards as well as parallel

Required Qualifications For Consideration:

Education:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or high school diploma/GED

Minimum of three years people management or team lead

Minimum of seven years in IT

Min three years securityexperience

Network firewalls knowledge such as Checkpoint, Palo Alto and Juniper (one of the three)

Knowledge of Application Security (specifically XML Firewalls, Database firewalls)

Knowledge IDS/IPS

• DLP

Strong technical skills and deep knowledge of systems security and controls including:

• Attack and penetration security and defense

• Network, firewall and router configuration

• Web Application Security

• Sniffer technologies and packet decode analysis

• Threat Modeling

Preferred Qualifications For Consideration:

• CISSP certification preferred

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance initiatives including GLBA, PCI-DSS, SSAE16, etc.

Knowledge of waterfall or agile based project management a plus

Network Architecture knowledge and design experience in large 24x7x365 data center environments

• Database firewalls

• Web Application Firewalls

• Network Access Controls
