As a member of the Bombardier Business Aircraft Customer Services Sales Team, you will be managing a world-class quotes and sales team to drive parts sales for all in-service Business Aircraft platforms.

You will be expected to develop our company’s quotes and sales strategy based on a deep technical and business acumen in key knowledge areas, such as:
• Customer needs and expectations
• Market trends and competitive landscape
• Cross-platform or cross-industry opportunities

You will lead the teams to define and maintain our quotes and sales initiatives in the areas parts sales to ASF’s, MRO’s and brokers. You will be responsible for the management of these teams to ensure we meet our monthly/yearly budget targets.

You will link with the Regional Sales Management team to ensure alignment and synergies with all offerings in development and sales to in service aircraft.

As a manager of the team, you are a recognized reference in all fields related to aircraft sales and will mentor more junior members.

In your role, you will:
• Develop an overall quotes and sales strategy for all Bombardier Business Aircraft aftermarket part sales activities
• Manage a critical proposal process key to growing our services business
• Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
• Define and implement process improvements
• Provide deep insight on Bombardier and competitor products and services
• Develop and implement company-wide go-to-market plans that maximize market impact
• Conduct customer feedback activities through focus groups, trade-shows, surveys, etc.
• Support sales activities through deep technical product knowledge
• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Rules (Professional / Administrative)
• Coordinate with suppliers / partners / vendors to aid in development of new products to support and grow the BASC and BA revenue stream
• Coordinate with Sales team to build and maintain product offerings
• Manage the implementation of products through the product development process from concept to launch
• Coordinate with Service Centers to build work scopes with Engineering, CSSG, Material and other parties to prioritize and develop product opportunities and bring them to market in a timely manner
• Develop and leverage relationships with Vendors to develop implementation partnerships around our solution
• Perform managerial responsibilities and recommend related actions, i.e., coaching, disciplinary actions, PMP, training and certifications, work assignments scheduling vacation and monitoring attendance


As our ideal candidate,
• You have a minimum of 5 to 10 years business aircraft and maintenance experience within aviation or related industry
• You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years progressively more responsible supervisory experience
• You have 1 to 3 years financial, marketing or sales analysis experience
• You have experience with Airframe and Power plants
• You have Working knowledge of business aircraft products
• You have Working knowledge of FAA and Federal Aviation Regulations
• You possess a Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalent years of relevant experience
• You have Computer skills necessary to operate and / or learn Pivotal or similar CRM tools; word processing, spreadsheet, database, email and web based applications
• You are recognized for your high level communications skills in both written and verbal, as well as Applicable business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence
• Ability to organize multiple simultaneous projects so with flexibility to manage change in meeting requirements and deadlines
• You have a passion for the aviation industry, particularly business jets
• You have a robust technical understanding of aircraft avionics, cabin interiors, and various other aircraft systems
• You have the ability to manage initiatives of a technical, financial, marketing and general business nature
• You have the ability to influence and work with little formal authority
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit that constantly challenges the status quo
• You have strong oral and written English communications skills and functional French communication skills are desired
