      POSITION SUMMARY:

      The position will work directly with the senior sales leadership team to provide key analysis and reporting of business and category trends, portfolio performance and gap analysis. The position will be responsible for managing a team dedicated to national reporting and analysis of industry trends, providing recommendations and insight to the leadership team on current and future strategy. This position will be responsible for design, maintenance, and distribution of all national incentive programs and trackers. This person will also closely collaborate with data intelligence and BI teams to further drive data integrity and refine and elevate reporting and metrics. 

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Lead contact for national reporting and analysis across all available internal and external data systems
      • Provide consolidated national performance material to the Senior VP of Sales, President, and Sales Operations Director to help support decision-making and facilitate communication to the executive team
      • Develop and distribute regular suite of portfolio, category and segment performance tools for sales team  
      • Manage sales manager / analyst and provide career development planning and opportunities
      • Collaborate with commercial planning, distributor strategy, finance, and other cross functional departments to help develop sales strategy and fiscal planning work for division
      • Collaborate with CBrands Sales, Strategic Insights, Finance and Marketing teams to help drive consistency and effectiveness of reporting
      • Liaison between the cross functional groups and sales, responsible for the dissemination of information and strategy
      • Develop content for monthly and quarterly executive management and senior leadership business review meetings
      • Provide support and insightful analysis for key distributor executive business review meetings
      • Manage national reporting of syndicated data to provide key insights and growth opportunities 
      • Manage depletion forecast and flash updates weekly for the Senior Leadership Team 
      • Design, manage, track and distribute all national incentives and KPIs reporting / scorecards
      • Work closely with CBI’s internal BI team as well as distributor personnel to help further enrich technology for the sales team
      • Collaborate with data intelligence team to refine and elevate reporting and metrics including defining commercial prioritization of IQ enhancements
      • Conduct ad hoc analysis of CBrands brand and portfolio performance across all sales and merchandising metrics
      • Assist with special projects as representative of senior sales leadership team

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Bachelors Degree and 5-8years industry, CPG or other relevant business experience
      • Proven analytical skills, ability to create compelling fact based presentations
      • Excellent Microsoft suite proficiency, including superior Excel skills
      • Strong knowledge of IRI databases, COGNOS, JDE
      • Ability to learn proprietary systems quickly (ex: Sales Nav, Diver, etc.)
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action, adjust to change and persuade at all levels, are key competencies of this role

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/OTHER:

      • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. on a regular basis
      • Must be able to travel by plane or train for long distance
      • Ability to travel approximately 30-40%
      • Must be able to work in an office environment primarily but periodically required to work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and lighting
