Manager, Sales Development

ExtraHop Networks is growing and we are looking for a Sales Development Manager to help lead the charge. The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for building and leading a team of 10 Sales Representatives. They are responsible for meeting and exceeding a sales pipeline quota by excelling at key critical success factors, including outbound calls, opportunity identification and campaign follow up.  They are expected to be trusted advisors on the topic of wire data analytics. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team to exceed lead generation goals
  • Drive team impact to attain daily activity metrics of outbound calls, decision maker contacts with qualified leads
  • Achieve quarterly pipeline goals
  • Be an expert on existing and developing technologies as it relates to outbound prospecting tools
  • Develop reps into sales-ready candidates for future sales opportunities
  • Understand customer business issues and how these issues can be solved with ExtraHop Networks
  • Provide and present metrics for QBRs
  • Serve as liaison between Sales and Marketing on outbound demand generation initiatives

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of proven success in a Sales Management/Leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
  • Proven track record of metrics and quota attainment
  • Creative, self-starter and business minded
  • Experience in mentorship and people development
  • Experience with Account-based Marketing (ABM)
  • Experience in a SaaS, technology, or a high growth startup environment
  • Expert in creating sales plays, writing call scripts, and conducting sales training
  • Ability to work very closely with marketing to drive the conversions of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) with targeted campaigns
  • Detailed knowledge of specified systems, metrics, and customer segmentation that supports growth in a salesmodel
  • Thorough understanding of top-of-the-funnel concepts, strategy, and tactics
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and Google Apps
