ABOUT THE ROLE - YOUR NEXT BIG CATCH
The Manager of Retirement Benefits leads the strategy, design, governance and administration of retirement programs across the United States and Canada. This role ensures programs are competitive, compliant, cost-effective and aligned with the company’s Total Rewards strategy.
This position partners closely with HR leadership, Finance, Payroll, Legal and external advisors to drive continuous improvement, strong fiduciary governance, and an exceptional outfitter experience in retirement readiness and financial wellness.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Oversee the design, administration, and governance of U.S. and Canadian retirement plans (e.g., 401(k), pension, RRSP, DPSP).
- Support the 401(k) committee, including preparation of materials, recommendations, and governance oversight.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements (ERISA, IRS, DOL, CRA, provincial rules, etc.).
- Partner with recordkeepers, actuaries, and investment advisors to monitor plan health, fees, and performance.
- Conduct annual benchmarking and market analysis to maintain competitive plan design.
- Manage retirement plan audits, filings such as the 5500 reporting, and fiduciary committee materials.
- Ensure success of outfitter education initiatives to improve outfitter retirement readiness and financial wellness.
- Analytics & Strategy – analyze data across retirement programs to identify trends and insights.
- Develop metrics and dashboards to track program effectiveness and inform leadership decision-making.
- Ensure programs are well understood, accessible, and valued by employees.
- Partner with communications and HR teams to deliver clear, and engaging messaging.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOW-HOW TO SUCCEED IN THE FIELD
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred Degree: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certificate(s) or License(s): CEBS, CRPS or similar retirement / benefits certification.
- Years of experience: 5+ years retirement administration experience and prefer prior Workday experience.
- Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, trackers, routine reporting, partner records, and event or outreach documentation.
- Experience with donor platforms, volunteer management systems, grants tools, content tools, campaign platforms, or candidate/event outreach tools preferred.

This role primarily leads retirement programs across the U.S. and Canada while also supporting broader health and welfare benefit strategy, vendor management, and Total Rewards initiatives as needed.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
