Ideally located in Montreal, QC or Toronto, ON, and reporting into the Chief Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for managing a group of relationship managers. In this client-focused role, you will help provide the strategic direction to the team, providing needed support and guidance to deliver service excellence to our partners.
� Lead & grow a medium-sized team of Relationship Managers of varying levels of experience, including providing mentorship, support and learning opportunities
� Help develop and implement the team strategic direction along with the CAO and CRO
� Hire additional team members when needed and be responsible for their onboarding and training
� Support team members in fostering client loyalty through Shareworks standard client interaction protocols and proactive client retention initiatives including client meetings, corporate communications, quarterly partnership meetings, etc.
� Serve as an escalation point for client inquiries and help establish strong lines of communication with internal partners
� Mentor direct reports with respect to client interaction, communication tactics and positioning strategies
� Improve the Net Promoter Score for this client segment in the annual Group 5 Industry Survey in accordance with the annual goals set by Senior Management
� Lead team members in informing clients of the full product offering of Morgan Stanley at Work and achieve established goals for the level of cross selling in this important market segment.
� With a "Player-Coach" expectation for the role, the successful candidate would also be directly responsible for a small portfolio of clients
� College or University diploma or degree in Business, Economics or similar would be an asset
� At least 5 years providing outstanding service/relationship management and solutions to a variety of clients
� Must have a minimum of 3 years prior equity compensation experience
� Demonstrated leadership skills/experience in a strategic, client facing role
� Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities
� Ability to manage a team that is both in office and remote
� Ability to travel up to 35% of time
� Bilingualism would be an asset
