Position Description


The Manager, Purchasing and Contract Management is responsible for the strategic direction, as well as the tactical execution of all aspects of purchasing operations, contract management and capital acquisition for AU Health System, under the direction of the Director Supply Chain Mgt. This includes but is not limited to customer service, procurement, contracting, capital acquisition, vendor management and accounts payable liaison. In addition, this position supervises and has administrative responsibility, authority, and accountability for human resources in support of the department.

Position Requirements


Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience in Purchasing and Contract Management, healthcare and supervision. Other Requirements: Contract writing and negotiation skills, management skills, excellent computer skills, analytical skills, proven negotiating skills.

Preferred Requirements


10 years or more of experience in Purchasing and Contract Management, healthcare and supervision.
