Manager, Project Management Office
This position has primary responsibility for the management of Univision’s ETS TechnologyProject Management Office (PMO). This role directly manages a portfolio of sensitive projects as well as serves as a single point of coordination for all ETS Capital Requests for Projects and Time Card reporting and accounting to support Internal Capital Labor expenditures. This position is crucial in auditing projects against the established Project Management Framework (PMF) for compliance. Both the Internal and External Audit Functions have "reliance" on the Project Audits performed by the ETS organization. Special knowledge and experiencerequired in the field of Project & Program Management, Risk Assessment & Management, Resourcing, Project Accounting and Compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Guide designated Project Management resources to understand and follow the Univision Project Management Framework (PMF) detailing the process to follow for the planning, execution, control
and performance reporting of all assigned programs/projects.
•Develop and execute periodic audit(s) of PMF adherence and Project Performance to ensure standards are being followed as it relates to business case development, program/project planning,
identification & management of risk, scope change management, issue identification & management, escalation, communication, issue, and knowledge (best practices and lessons learned); both during
and after project/program closure.
•Monitor progress, coordinate delivery dates, and maintain financial controls and systems including marking budgets for all project expenditure.
•Prepare material for the Governance Committee to review new project proposals, review status of current in-flight projects/programs and provide financial reports relating to projects.
•Review status on a regular basis and conduct meetings with the Director of PMO, and other ETS Domain leaders.
•Work closely with Project Managers and Change Management Teams to communicate the Program status and its updates to the relevant stakeholders in the organization.
•Participate in Program/Project setup meetings and provide direction to ensure that the Programs/Projects are initiated in accordance to the defined methodology.
•Fully supporting infrastructure and building projects including administration, organization of project meetings and minutes.
•Organizing and facilitating closure of project and complete benefit analysis at the end of the project.
•Conduct review meetings with vendors & suppliers related to the Program to gather information on vendor performance and report the same to the Director of PMO, SVP of Technology Governance and CIO.
•Manage priorities / conflicts / escalations at a program/project level.
Education and Experience
•Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Project Management, or related field and or equivalent combination of work experience.
•At least 5 years IS project management experience with three (3) or more of the following areas: Application Development, Application Implementation, Infrastructure Implementation, Data Center
Implementation, PMO Development, Project & Resource Demand Management, IS/IT Auditing, IS/IT Policy development, Risk Assessment.
•Expert knowledge of Project Integration Management, Project Scope Management, Project Time Management, Project Cost Management, Project Quality Management, Project Human Resources Management,
Project Communications Management, Project Risk Management.
•Knowledge of 1 or more of the following compliance standards and frameworks: PMI Body of Knowledge, ISO, COBIT, NIST, GLBA Act, SOX, PCI, ISO17999 & ISO27001
•Proficient in the design and implementation of effective PMO standard operating procedures and internal controls.
•Prior experience developing and managing n IT PMO experience preferred.
•Broadcast Media industry experience a plus.
•Certifications: PMP: Project Management Professional, CAPM: Certified Associate in Project Management, CSM: Certified ScrumMaster, CompTIA Project+Certification, PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner,
CPMP: Certified Project Management Practitioner, or related certifications a plus.
•Fundamental understanding of relational and non-relational databases IS testing practices, and data validation.
•Experience working with internal and external auditors.
•Working collaboratively and independently.
•Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
•Strong communication and written skills.
•Perform multiple projects simultaneously.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
•Working knowledge of a PPM, GRC or ITSM systems a plus (i.e. Service Now, Clarity, Project Server, HP PPM, HEAT, Remedy, etc.)
•Knowledge of Spanish a plus
