DESCRIPTION:

Showtime Networks is searching for an Original Programming Finance Manager in our West Hollywood office. Responsibilities include managing the ultimate programming costs on Showtime's Original Programming slate of owned, co-produced, and licensed content and managing the reporting and financial planning and analysis for Showtime's Original Programming assets and network license fee amortization as reported in the SHO network income statement. The Manager prepares detailed series economic executive reports for Showtime's premium original series and slate analysis management reports. The Manager must have database or business intelligence system experience to help drive process design and optimization. This position works closely with other finance, business affairs and programming groups within CBS and Showtime. Duties also include collaborating with Research on preparing a cross-platform viewership analysis on our premium series, managing the network amortization models, and preparing detailed analyses that support the Original Programming amortization annual budget, monthly rolling forecasts and LRP submissions. The individual in this position reports to the Director of Original Programming Finance and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:

-Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience within a Finance/Accounting environment, preferably concentrated in the entertainment industry.

-Network/Cable Programming Finance and FP&A experience is preferred.

-B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance highly preferred. CPA/MBA preferred.

-Thorough knowledge and application of ASC 920 & 926.

-Strong project management and presentation skills are required.

-Must be highly proficient using Microsoft Excel and in using Tableau (or similar business intelligence system) for data analysis and reporting.

-Oracle/PeopleSoft general ledger and TM1 Budgeting & Planning experience are preferred.

-Must have the ability to multi-task.
