Summary of Duties:• Directly manages staff of Program Planning and Control Analysts, assigns project planning/schedulingresponsibilities,determines priorities, and makes necessary allocations of resources for all key weapon systems at KCNSC.• Identifies issues withschedule completion of major weapon programs, and drives resolution through interaction with Program Managers, Engineering and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC).• Interfaces and teams with Engineering, ISC, Nuclear Weapon Programs and other stakeholders in fulfillment of Directive Customer delivery requirements.• Develops and implements strategies to achieve on time customer delivery and scheduling linearity.• Develops, maintains and publishes Performance Metrics that align with NNSA deliverables.• Maintains administrative and logistical liaison with the company, National Nuclear Security Administration, Design Agencies, laboratories, integratedcontractors and other government agencies.• Works with current and future customers to understand customer needs and their impact on future KCP planning and strategies.• Definesprocesses used in planning for weapon programs; ensures process standardization, execution, and results of FM&T and PP&C process.• Identifies, defines and executes Program Planning and Schedulingprocesses to increase business flexibility and responsiveness to the customer.• Fosters continuous improvement approaches, implementing Six Sigma methodologies to increase efficiencies to all aspects of the business.• Works with management and other functional areas to formulate and implement strategies necessary to meet a broad range of plant-wide objectives.• Develops, coordinates, and directs the implementation of special technical or operational management initiatives or projects with broad business emphasis. • Evaluates business trends and structures; identifies skill requirements and mentors/coaches individual and group development to increase organizational agility and integrative business practices.• Performs other managerialresponsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training of staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and discipliningassociates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

You Must Have:

• US Citizenship in order to obtain US Department of Energy "Q" level security clearance or higher
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, or business-related field
• 7+ years’ experience in engineering, manufacturing, or business related activities and in managing projects and/or
• 2+ years’ experience in development and production of weapon systems and components
• 2+ years’ experience leading multi-disciplined teams and processes

• Successful history of working with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and its’ NSE laboratories and
production facilities
• Strategic planning experience, supervisory management and/or professional designation in management
• Technical understanding of weapon systems and component functions
• Understanding of the NSE weapons acquisition and product realization process
• Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills are required
• Effective, proven ability in decision making, problem solving, and influencing others
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business system improvements
• Strong coordination and planning skills
• Demonstrated customer service and evidence of six sigma/continuous improvement actions
• Ability to analyze and interpret information and articulate observations and recommendations for technical and
programmatic impact
• Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment demonstrating solid independent judgment
