The Manager of Professional Education designs, develops, and executes professional education courses and activities for the assigned field-based geography (Eastern US). This position will develop course content along with clinical faculty and ensure alignment to corporate strategy. Partner and serve as an advisor to the field sales/clinical teams on potential training opportunities and upcoming courses. Identify and support the onboarding and development of faculty clinicians.

  • Incorporate key stakeholder feedback (marketing, R&D, Regulatory, clinical) and ensure training meets key learning objectives for the target audience.
  • Manage course calendar to include site and speaker selection as well as invitations and participant recruitment
  • Manage course execution to include agenda and content creation as well on-site course management
  • Partners with our key opinion leaders to develop course content and ensure alignment to education strategy
  • Oversee submission of all content through the copy approval process
  • Identify, develop, and overseas deployment of key opinion leaders in aligned geography
  • Manage the process for gaining course accreditation (CE)
  • Identify training gaps and identifies new opportunities to contribute to the national education strategy
  • Implement course surveys and provide reporting on course outcomes and metrics
  • Work cross functionally with R&D, Clinical, Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, and Training on a continual basis across numerous initiatives
  • Maintains compliance with Quality System procedures and company policies


  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required
  • A minimum of 6 years work experience in medical device is required
  • Field sales or clinical experience required
  • Experience with content creation and development is required
  • Experience managing key customer relationships and working with Key Opinion leaders is required
  • Experience in education management or instructional design is preferred
  • Ability to be innovative, proactive, and work within a team environment
  • Proven track record of working in a matrix environment with a high level of collaboration
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills are required.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required
  • MS Office Suite experience required

This position is to be in the Eastern US and may require up to 50% travel.
