As the Manager of Product Supply Analysis, you will be responsible for providing your analysis and expertise across our entire value chain, from Procurement all the way to Distribution. You will use your skills with SAP and experience and knowledge of supply chain practices and associated industries to execute logistics studies and provide data and recommendations on the management of current and future supply chain issues. The relationships you build throughout the chain will help to discover the need of the various groups and find opportunities for deep analysis and strategic recommendations. You will also play a key role in driving and coaching our supply chain groups and processes toward continuous improvement.
Produce monthly Logistics KPI reports. Analyze and report results to Plant and Corporate personnel. Understand and explain all variances to expected results.
Perform logistics studies utilizing SAILS optimization software.
Analyze cost impact of customer market changes due to capacity constraints or new product introductions; communicate sales volumes to Demand Planning group with regard to customer market shifts.
Provide analytical support to Operations Planning, Demand Planning, Warehousing, Transportation, Customer Facing Supply Chain and other departments as necessary with regard to Logistics issues.
Assist in leading efforts to implement and develop NCE processes to foster continuous improvement across the Supply Chain organization.
Perform allotherduties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience (Years/Type): 5 or more years of experience in operations (logistics- transportation, warehousing, planning, customer facing supply chain, or manufacturing or operations performance) planning or analysis.
Experience working in a factory/warehouse setting is required.
Skills: Highly developed analytical skills; extensive knowledge of computers with heavy emphasis on spreadsheets, Strong Communications ability, and SAP/ BW; understanding of optimization tools and methodology; exposure to Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE); leadership through influence; self-starter
