Analytic Services is looking for  a skilled professional to join as a Product Owner, supporting Nielsen Attribution and Visual IQ, and reporting to the VP of Attribution Products. Nielsen’s multi-touch attribution products measure the effectiveness and return-on-investment of marketing spend, using advanced statistical methods and big data technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of product, engineering, and commercial leaders to:

  1. Design a holistic data reporting strategy for Nielsen’s attribution business, inclusive of dashboards, APIs and bulk data feeds
  2. Enhance Nielsen’s Attribution reporting tools to improve value to end users and usability
  3. Conduct user experience research to continually refine and discovery features and functionality



  • Function as the Product Owner within the Scrum team
  • Develop technical user stories and product roadmaps based on market and user experience research
  • Break down high level user stories / business requirements into technical requirements
  • Collaborate cross functionally with engineers, data scientists, vendors, product marketing, and business development to plan, develop, and deliver products
  • Regularly review the competitive landscape and analyze client feedback to improve product features and capabilities
  • Prepare product documentation
  • Be the subject matter expert on the product
  • Communicate product status and progress to business leadership



  • Previous product experience driving user interface / dashboard development and/or programmatic data interfaces (APIs)
  • Understanding of front end web development technologies
  • Ability to communicate at a technical level with engineers to clearly convey requirements and success criteria


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Digital and TV marketing / media industry and supply chain (e.g. MarTech, AdTech)
  • Technical knowledge of media measurement technologies and data, including tagging / pixeling methods and device identifiers
  • Some basic programming knowledge helpful (note: this is not a programming position)
  • Familiarity with Agile development preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate work across geographically distributed teams
  • Experience in planning, developing, and launching products
  • Light travel required
