Facebook is looking for a leader for our Infrastructure Procurement Operations. In this role, you will lead a team of procurement professionals supporting the day-to-day execution and ongoing improvement of infrastructure procurement activities such as order management, tool and process development, outsourced service provider management, and invoice issue resolution. This position manages our outsourced service provider which is key to our Sourcing and Operations Engineering team’s success.
This position requires a deep understanding of global procurement operations, business challenges, and ability to translate them into solutions. This role will work closely with a wide variety of infrastructure stakeholders to create process improvements, establish priorities, acceptable timelines, and performance metrics.
This position reports to the Director of Infrastructure Sourcing and is based at our Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park, CA.
As a member of the Sourcing, Operations & Engineering Team, understand strategic business objectives and sourcing requirements and develop sourcing strategies in support of business objectives.
Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to strategically develop, implement and optimize sourcing processes and tools.
Understand the current processes and tools environment and develop collaborative action plans to achieve desired outcomes. Manage the process to meet milestones and objectives.
Lead process and tool optimization and continuous improvement.
Management and oversight of procurement operational services.
Management of outsourced service provider.
Analyze internal requirements and external benchmarks and develop strategic sourcing organizational strategies, including vendor management.
Identify and develop a reporting structure for key performance metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
Hire, develop and lead a team of procurement professionals that are responsible for procurement execution, processes, and tools in the Infrastructure space (both regular and contract employees).
BS degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or management plus 10+ years related experience.
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in leading process and tool development.
Experience in planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier management.
Experience thinking strategically and operationally/tactically.
Experience driving change and improving end-to-end processes.
