The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of managing high-performance teams and who has experiencepartnering with sales to grow product and services revenue. They will have been a leader of a technology organization whose members routinely exert significant influence on the solution development and sale of business-driven technology solutions to customers. The individual has demonstrated the ability to manage team execution during solution sales activities, and the ability to personally influence the sale of complex, large-scale business driven technology solutions to senior client executives. In addition, this individual will have excellent strategic planning and strategy deployment skills and must possess a broad level of technology understanding.


Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a team of system experts who represent the company and provide all pre-sales technical support and technical account management for their field account managers and Partners
  • Lead a team that contributes to the design and integration architecture of Internet information services appliances including DNS, DHCP, Security and Network Automation solutions
  • Train and conduct product demonstrate for our partners, customers, and your partnered pre-sales team; helping them understand how and why to deploy Infoblox business solutions
  • Develop and help manage curriculum for the Systems Engineers to grow and develop
  • Able to relay technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Communicate with other members of the pre-sales/sales organization to develop training initiatives that will enhance the effectiveness of the sale
  • Develop key relationships with enterprise customers and partners
  • Assure technical competency and skill sets of the Systems Engineers on a regular basis
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales, engineering, project management, product development, and operational groups to ensure the development of customer solutions
  • Recruit, hire and retain the right people to form a high performing pre-sales system engineering team
  • Mentor, coach and develop the team; provide performance management, salary planning and technical training
  • Provide technical resources to optimize sales volume and ensure customers have the maximum opportunity for successful application through systems/applications engineering services

Requirements:

  • 3+ year of managing Pre-Sales Systems Engineers working with Enterprise customers
  • 8+ years of Pre-Sales Systems Engineering experienceworking within the IT Datacenter Infrastructure Networking space
  • Understanding and experience with IP networking, switches/routers and firewall security
  • Experience working with DNS/DHCP/IPAM products such as Alcatel Vital QIP, BlueCat, Efficient IP, Nominum, or Network Automation Products is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
