Assists the Director of Engineering in directing, planning, scheduling and managing activities of Plant Operations. Manages maintenance, installation, and repair of all facility structure, equipment, and utility systems. Oversees all contracted vendors and projects. Responsible for controlling, managing and analyzing St. Joseph’s/Candler’s energy/utility management plan for all properties. Other duties include: developing staff training programs, emergency management planning, off-campus property management, short/long term budgeting. CMS and JC readiness planning, document control, and proactive facility management.
Recommended candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or related field with emphasis on facilities management. Must have a strong Electrical background with broad knowledge of Mechanical systems. Must have Healthcare facility experience. Minimum 5 years experience required.
