Assist the company with all its HR needs while focusing on improving and enhancing all aspects of the job requirements. Responsibilities can range from full-cycle HR to project based initiatives
Responsible for building/improving/maintaining a strong, compliant and scalable HRinfrastructure
Ensure company has a strong HRinfrastructure and ensure compliance. Provide recommendations and assist in creation of company policies to ensure consistency, compliance and efficiency (creating and writing employee handbooks, travel & entertainment policies…etc.), FSLA classifications and audit
Research, recommend, implement and perform benefits administration and management, including enrollments, terminations and claims resolution. Assist in strategic benefits (plan evaluations and selection, open enrollment planning, 401k, LOA, COBRA etc.)
Onboarding/Offboarding: enhance, recommend and conduct new hire orientation and termination process
Performance Management: assist in designing and implementing performance management processes to ensure all employees receive timely and actionable feedback
Culture & Employee Relations: assess, recommend and develop programs designed to enhance employee morale and productivity and recognize employees for their contributions to the company’s success.
Collaborate with managers to resolve issues and assist to prepare corrective action.
Must have at least 5+ years of human resources experience at venture-backed or PE backed companies
Must have in-depth knowledge of tech start up HR best practices
Must have knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws
Expert knowledge of MS Excel and Namely is a huge plus
Ability to exercise autonomy, independent judgment and decision making; providing sound recommendations to resolve issues and mitigate risk
Strong interpersonal skills, high level of professionalism and integrity
Ability to professionally handle confidential data and information
