The Manager, Patient Experience Analytics will be a hands on data scientist who will assist the Vice President of Quality Measurement, Chief Data scientist in the implementation of a cohesive, powerful, actionable and innovative analytics strategy to support Hackensack Meridian Health's human experience initiative. She/he will build and oversee a team of high level analytics professional(s) which will conduct sophisticated data analysis to help address critical questions, provide actionable insights which will enable the office of human experience drive improvements in outcomes.


1. Leveraging extensive, deep analytical knowledge and team leadership skills to drive the development of analytical solutions and implement data-driven recommendations and outcomes for the office of human experience 2. Leading the initiatives involving exploration and analysis of data across a variety of data platforms 3. Champion the execution of sophisticated analysis to address specific human experience problems determined by consultation with various stakeholders across the organization 4. Develop sophisticated data products (visualization and/or analysis) for users 5. Challenge conventional thinking and traditional ways of operating as you work with stakeholders to identify and improve the status quo.


Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Undergraduate degree in applied math, operations statistics, computer science, healthcare administration, nursing informatics or related field. 2. 4-5 years of experience managing large data sets and using quantitative and qualitative analysis to draw meaningful and valid insights including 2 years of programming experience using Python/R. 3. Expert skills in writing complex SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data and investigate data problems. 4. Experience with modern visualization tools (Tableau, spotfire, PowerBI, Business Objects/Crystal) and/or other data analysis tools. 5. Strong communication skills (both oral and written). 6. Demonstrated history of driving and delivering analytics models and solutions. 7. Excellent organizational, motivational and interpersonal skills, capable of interfacing well at multiple levels within a large organization. 8. Must be able to present results to senior leadership, internal and external members. 9. Outstanding analytic and modeling skills, proficient at conceptualizing, implementing, and evaluating highly accurate and scalable solutions to business problems. 10. Knowledge of health related data concepts such as risk stratification, episode groupers, coding (diagnosis and procedures codes). Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 1.
