The Manager, Organizational Development (OD) is a trusted advisor to the business, building the necessary relationships to prepare and encourage the development, growth, and education of our employees. The position is responsible for the design, development and facilitation of participant-centered, corporate and cross-functional development initiatives. The Manager, OD, partners with our Human Resources team and business leaders to increase individual and organizational performance and capabilities by creating programs and processes to identify, develop and retain talented employees for the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy training via face to face and alternate delivery methods like e-learning and distance learning in collaboration with content experts, trainers, managers, and employees.
Build, maintain and manage relationships and partnerships with internal customers to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and/or changes in policies, procedures, regulations, or technologies.
Deliver training curriculum. Ensure alignment of content with organizational mission, goals and outcomes.
Assist in evaluating and prioritizing all development projects, ensuring consistency and compliance with corporate standards, initiatives and established training mandates.
Assess organizational learning and development needs and make recommendations regarding existing programs and/or development of new learning options based on that assessment.
Assess needs or requirements of Corporate and cross-functional programs based on strategic goals.
Develop course materials in collaboration with content experts. Include learning objectives into lesson plans and presentation scripts.
Develop evaluation tools to measure participant learning.
Working with internal and external resources, research, recommend and implement an effective Learning Management System for the organization.
Develop, execute, and measure programs that focus on developing, engaging, and retaining talent required to support the future needs of the organization.
Create, implement, and manage programs supporting the effective onboarding and development of new employees.
Create, implement, and facilitate programs developing our organizational leaders and high potential/high performing employees.
Manage our succession planning process
Create an environment that fosters teamwork, values diversity, and which supports and respects all company team members, internal and external customers, and vendors.
Monitor, analyze and present talent management and development metrics against business needs and goals.
Execute on Talent Management processes such as Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Succession Management and Leadership Development.
Facilitate organizational improvement and feedback processes including implementation and monitoring of employee surveys, performance development, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements and Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Marketing or related field is required.
MBA or MA in Organizational Effectiveness, or Human Resources preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Organizational Development, curriculum development and practical training or training design and implementation, in a global organization with leading edge HR Systems and practices.
Minimum of 3 years of experience at a Management level
Strong presentation/group facilitation skills
Demonstrated expertise in change management.
Must be a self-starter who takes initiative in finding solutions to difficult and unique problems/opportunities.
Must possess strong technical skills with experience in creating an on-line learning environment.
Must have ability to multi-task and work at both strategic and tactical levels and with detailed and sensitive information.
Must have the flexibility and adaptability to work with multiple projects and deadlines in a fast, fluid, and dynamic environment.
Strong analytical, coaching and influence skills.

This is a full-time position occasionally requiring schedule flexibility to meet business needs.
