Position Purpose:This position is responsible for overseeing the analytics, reporting needs and data management that support the business and the Premium Services group.  Oversees development of new analytical techniques and ensuring appropriate application.  Oversees discovery of new insights and potential analytics applications through investigative research into large and complex datasets.  Collaborates within Operations and cross-functionally to develop and integrate analytics into various processes.  Supports the monitoring of industry trends in analytics and investigates new concepts, ideas, and data sources.  Responsible for management of the on-going portfolio of analytical engagements as assigned. Also, oversee the premium services team to ensure that there is adequate staffing and that all premium services are delivered on-time and with appropriate quality.  Candidate must be strategic, challenge and engage team, and be able to present findings to the Senior Leadership Team. 
This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday with core hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The position will report to our Executive Vice President of Special Operations.
Positional Responsibilities:

  • Function as a liaison between the Customers, technical staff (BTS) and other key stakeholders.  Researching technical solutions, provide feedback on customer requirements, and recommend solutions to meeting business needs
  • Represent the premium services function in new sales and requests.  Ensure that there is appropriate staffing and training to support our Sales team in winning new business
  • Lead and coordinate customer meetings.  Regularly review work requests to ensure SLA’s are met and communicate effectively if there is a change in scope or delivery time
  • Prioritize work requests and ensure that the work being done aligns with TASC priorities (executive requests, strategic initiatives, corporate rocks, etc.)
  • Prepare written and oral reports to all levels of management and senior executives
  • Ensure that the team has the proper tools and training to complete report requests and analytics
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in both undertaking BIT  & Premium Services assignments and coaching the Team
  • Operate within TASC’s guidelines pursuant to the Employee Handbook and all Policies and Procedures
  • Coordinate actions with internal stakeholders and legal teams if needed
  • Perform additional duties as requested by Supervisor and/or Management

  • Demonstrate experience interfacing with business clients and partnering with business stakeholders to create solutions

Qualifications:

  • MS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering Actuarial Science or related field or equivalent designation
  • Four or more years of hands-on report writing and analytics experience working with large and complex datasets
  • Two or more years of experience managing a team
  • A successful history of translating business problems into analytic problems, and creating analytic solutions that drive actionable business solutions
  • High level organizational and project management skills in order to handle multiple concurrent assignment sin a timely manner
