This well-known, large corporation is looking to hire a manufacturing executive to build their management bench. With succession planning on their mind, they seek a capable quality manager who has had diversified roles and can bring a broad depth of operational experience.


This proactive Quality Manager will lead plant-wide quality. The Quality Manager position requires a strong leader with a proven track record of ensuring customer requirements are met. 


  • Oversee quality business system, production quality, supplier quality, continuous improvement and engineering services
  • Manage, improve and maintain the quality business system; production quality, supplier quality, regulatory certification maintenance
  • Drive continuous improvement and overall management of quality system to comply with corporate requirements, current ISO 9001 requirements and applicable quality standards
  • Manage the Internal Audit Process and CAPA
  • Primary contact for customers about quality related issues and actions
  • Serve as on-site quality expert and trainer to plant personnel; mentor Green and Black Belt students; participate in Kaizen events
  • Direct and manage engineering services team for design support, providing engineering support, maintenance of document control


because this client intends to promote this Quality Manager they're looking for someone that's had diverse responsibilities within a manufacturing organization. Additional credentials expected:


  • BS degree
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification with proven track record of proactive Lean implementation plant-wide
  • management of a manufacturing quality department at the corporate or plant level
  • knowledge of machined parts, castings, or forgings
  • operations depth - ideally exposure to different roles beyond quality
  • 7+ years of experience implementing LEAN / total quality concepts in manufacturing environment
  • high potential player with a quantifiable track record of continuous improvement


Location; Central New Hampshire - Relocation Assistance Available

Salary: base in the low to mid 100’s plus bonus
