Manager of New Markets (Direct Sales - Party Plan)
THE COMPANY: Our client is an award winning, well established consumer goods designer and marketer of unique, high value added, home décor and home entertainment products.
THE POSITION: A talented Manager of New Markets is being added to target, plan and launch new business in promising demographic areas throughout the US. Will shape a new market business model to ensure that the business platform, planning, training, sales tools and market entry programs are adequate to achieve revenue and growth targets. As a key member of the Corporate Sales Strategy & Development team will partner with independent sales leaders nationally to develop recruiting process, training, compensation plan, sales tracking, recognition programs and incentives to support new market demographics and to ensure the successful launch of new products. Will collaborate with the Marketing Group to develop starter kits, support materials and social mediacampaigns for market entry programs. Will implement business plan and product strategy, monitor competitive positioning and report on the sales and financial results of launches into new markets.
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have a BSBA and a minimum of 5-7years of direct selling/new market development experience preferably in a party plan or networkmarketing environment. In addition, the candidate selected will bring a minimum of 2-3years’ experience in developing and managing an independent sales force and prior success in new market expansion. Must be an effective communicator with excellent project management skills and a proven sales leadership background. Exposure to the US Hispanic market and some knowledge of Spanish would be a plus.
