Kforce has a client in Wakefield, Massachusetts (MA) seeking a Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions Accounting. Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform due diligence activities on acquisition company candidates.
  • Develop and recommend a timeline for the integration and/or transition of the back office, cash management and accounting functions
  • Oversee the finance/accounting team activities
  • Prepare the purchase accounting entries and the post-closing financial calculations
  • Convert acquired entity's financial information
  • Assist with special projects

Requirements

  • 7-10 years financial accounting experience, including experience in due diligence activities and purchase accounting
  • CPA is a plus
  • Strong technical skills
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and organization skills
