Assists in the implementation of mission critical enterprise gaming technology and responsible for the implementation of the functionality and usage strategy for each system. Assists in the development of project plans, working with IT and system vendors to deliver system enhancements necessary to meet identified requirements by agreed to time frames. Assists in the development and implementation of system-usage Standard Operating Processes and Procedures. Implements training and certification requirements for employees utilizing the systems.
Tests gaming technology that can generate labor savings or increase gaming profits, providing a fact base used in negotiating national agreements for the desired equipment, planning for broader deployment and/or advancing the Strategic Architecture agenda.
This position’s actions should ensure that CET’s mission critical gaming systems are being utilized in the most efficient and effective manner so as to maximize the value on investment in each system.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Position requires a passion for proactively researching, identifying and categorizing new technological solutions to support enterprise Gaming initiatives, ensuring that intel gathered can be effectively communicated to senior Leadership on both a structured and ah-hoc basis when required
Perform competitive analysis regarding competitors’ strategies on both a regional and enterprise basis, providing recommendations to senior Leadership about integration opportunities (where appropriate), incorporating success criteria
Proactively communicate present and future Gaming technology roadmaps and development/integration plans to all levels of both appropriate central and property personnel
Proactively identify and internally evangelize the functionality that must be developed to meet emerging business needs, ensuring availability meets required timeframes.
Provide effective consultation to our property Operations in order to both solicit and organize feedback as a means to develop a technological consumption methodology that maximizes systems benefits
Work with peers within IT, Marketing and vendor organizations to achieve desired outcomes in support of enterprise Gaming strategy
Develop and implement standard operating processes and procedures for mission critical gaming systems, seeking to maximize the value derived from each system
Compile, review, and categorize system enhancement requests
Participate in Innovation as mapped out in the Strategic Architecture
Manage project budgets
Assist in regulatory approvals, including education, submittals and field trials
QUALIFICATIONS: (Education and experience both required and/or preferred)
3-5 years of industry experience
College degreerequired, Masters desired
Excellent working knowledge of both front and back of house operations as it relates to electronic gaming devices
Multi-disciplined experience in operator, regulator and/or vendor sectors is preferred
Very good communication skills that can be adapted to audiences from staff to board level
Broad knowledge of existing and emerging technologiesrequired for slots, slot systems, table games, table game systems, payment systems, patron databases, mobile platforms, and other systems that touch gaming products
Must be available to travel up to 50% of time, if required
