Position Summary: The Manager, Financial Reporting & Consolidation is responsible for the compilation and reporting of the consolidated financial statements of CooperSurgical.  This includes preparation of the monthly internal reporting packages for management and the formal reporting of the CooperSurgical results to the Cooper Companies through HFM by legal entity. 

Essential Functions:

  1. Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial package for Executive and Corporate Management.  Compile and maintain supporting schedules related to reporting. 

  2. Main point of contact with CSI foreign affiliates in assuring financial results are reported in a timely and accurate manner.

  3. Liaison with CSI accounting and TCC accounting and tax departments, as well as internal and external auditors.

  4. Ability to take full ownership of projects and drive them through to completion.

  5. Work on the synergy between accounting and operating initiatives to achieve the company's objectives.

  6. Partner with corporate and internal departments to plan business and operational endeavors to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.

  7. Perform variance and financial analysis of results at the consolidated level as well as by location.

  8. Provide senior managers with high quality reports and analysis to facilitate decision making.

  9. Support CFO in ad hoc projects and analyses.

  10. Ensures consistent application of GAAP in monthly financialreporting.

  11. Keeps abreast of current trends, practices and developments in the profession.Make recommendations for implementation.

  12. Act within scope of authority consistent with Company objectives, guidelines, policies and practices.

  13. Performs additional duties or assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in Accounting.CPA or MBA Preferred.

  2. Minimum 7 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance functions with ability to work with multiple ERP and financialreporting systems.

  3. Experience with financial consolidation of international entities.

  4. Strong general accounting knowledge.

  5. Excellent project management and leadership skills.

  6. Thorough working knowledge and understanding of financialreporting requirements under GAAP and SEC.

  7. Travel on a regular basis required to various locations.

  8. Flexibility to accommodate various time-zones.

  9. Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel.

  10. Strong communication skills.

  11. Passing of background check which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and driving records.
