The Trustees is seeking a Manager of Coastal Communications who can implement an integrated marketing strategy that uplifts our coastal work and highlights the need for greater coastal resilience planning. The manager should be a marketing, publications, digital communications, and social media specialist who can create content, manage production timelines, and implement communication strategies around the Trustees’ focus on coastal and waterfront issues.
The Manager of Coastal Communications will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and is part of the Stakeholder Engagement team. The Manager of Coastal Communications will work closely with the Program Director for Coastal and Natural Resources, Director of Marketing and Communications, and the Marketing staff. This position is a full-time, exempt position and will be located at 200 High Street, Boston, MA. This position is funded for one year, with the chance of being renewed pending additional funding.
This position will provide direction and oversight for the day-to-day communications efforts and strategies related to our coastal strategy and Boston Waterfront Initiative.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and strategist with excellent writing skills and knowledge of standard marketing channels. The manager should be technologically savvy, self-motivated, reliable, and flexible.
