Manager of Accounting
This role is responsible for leading and directing a team that performs the accounting and reporting for company partnerships.
The primary responsibilities of the role include:
? Overseeing the flow of financialreporting tointernal and external customers.
? Establishing and implementing policies and procedures to help the company optimize reporting of financial results.
? Researching, identifying, and informing management about changes in accounting policies and procedures and advising on their impact to the company.
? Understanding the financial structure of company/partner relationships and the implications on the company.
? Understanding the accounting implications on reporting metrics.
? Managing accounting projects and working withother departments on company-wide initiatives.
? Managing audit, statutory reporting, and taxreporting deadlines for team.
? Gather feedback and information from team to identify issues for resolution and manage process improvement projects.
? Developing and coaching team.
? Performing other duties as required.
Bachelor?s degree in accounting is required. Work experience of at least seven years. A CPA certification is required. Knowledge of accounting theory, including GAAP and IFRS is preferred
