Position Overview
The Manager OE, Diversity and Inclusion will serve as the program manager for global organizational effectiveness and diversity and inclusion initiatives including Culture transformation. He/she will support the design of key initiatives and act as liaison for Novelis to Aditya Birla Group-level OE and diversity programs.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Culture and Purpose Journey
- Key contributor in shaping the continued Culture integration work and roadmap for near-and long-term global initiatives deployment
- Incorporate Novelis Purpose and Culture into all OE company initiatives, including Employee Surveys, Assessments, Diversity and Inclusion materials, etc.
- Program manage the Culture Journey roadmap with Regions, Businesses and Functions through Regional network of Talent Managers, HR Business partners and Culture Champions
- Enhance Regional Culture Champion capabilities
- Consolidate and report out on Culture related themes and progress across regions, businesses and functions
- Assist in the Program Management of the Purpose Initiative
- Facilitate Train-the-Trainer programs
- Own regular cadence of communication with global teams on culture, D&I and OE topics
- Create Culture and Inclusion related collateral for capability building and change management
Employee Surveys
- Program manage the implementation of surveys across the company at all levels
- Enhance capabilities on survey interpretation and action planning through collaboration with HR business partners
- Program manage the consolidation, analytics and report outs on themes and progress across regions, business and functions
- Leveraging data analysis, draw meaningful insights from employees survey results to share with HR and senior leaders
Awards and Recognition Programs
- Design / modify / enhance, initiative, implement and monitor all recognition and engagement programs
- Program manage the entries into the Novelis Awards of Excellence and the Chairman’s Awards of Excellence
- Program manage the Novelis participation in other ABG related awards of excellence and employer market surveys (e.g. best employer surveys)
- Own the Novelis Service Awards for the US
Diversity and Inclusion
- Support key D&I initiatives for Novelis, develop a recommendation for the long-term D&I roadmap of key milestones and enablement
- Serve as an ambassador in industry associations to scan best practices on diversity and inclusion
- Promote diversity and inclusion best practices within survey action plans
- Develop D&I initiatives as it relates to employer branding and talent acquisition with a focus on enhancing attracting talent within key diversity demographics
- Program manage global Inclusive Leadership capability building
- Provide D&I analytics to senior leaders and contribute to Global Talent Review diversity related data analytics
- Be a resource for D&I governance support and best practice sharing among Regions of their geographical and local initiatives
Employer Branding
- Provide strategic guidance on Novelis employer branding presence in social media sites including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Novelis Career site, etc.
- Manage external partner service level agreements and contracts in support of Novelis’ employer branding strategy and value proposition
- Provide support to Talent Acquisition teams in the Novelis Regions as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, I/O Psychology or related field. Master’s degree preferred
- 15+ years of Organizational Effectiveness experience, preferably in a variety of projects and initiatives
- Experience with culture, D&I or other large-scope transformation work
- Excellent communication skills
- Design thinking mindset and strong customer centricity
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively across different cultures
- Strong project management experience
- Resourceful and creative problem solving skills
