DescriptionOVERVIEW:
Expected to lead all aspects (project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost) of medium complexity, multi-faceted projects. May provide individual work stream project management in complex to very complex projects or programs. Expected to be able to apply knowledge of multiple methodologies, tools and templates and be able to create and maintain work products with minimal guidance.
This role begins base coaching, sharing and teaching of lower banded PMO roles and may aid in the on-boarding of new employees. Expected to run as an independent expert across the Enterprise Applications PMO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently executes medium complexity projects; or executes high complexity efforts with coaching from more senior staff
- Supports business process analysis/design, stakeholder needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align technology solutions with business strategies and direction; provides leadership to assigned project teams to ensure project alignment with the business objectives
- Supports the portfolio management decision process through the creation of project charters, scope definition, risk assessments, budgets and business value articulation
- Applies project management and systems development lifecycle process to information technology projects from the original concept through the final implementation; coordinates the activities of the project team
- Leads project teams in the development and implementation of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and resource plans
- Gathers and analyzes data to identify trends that support visibility to potential issues and inconsistencies; anticipates and identifies issues inhibiting successful project delivery
- Monitors / assess project progress and drive communications; prepares status reports, management reporting and presentations for executives
- Facilitates resolution, mitigation and appropriate escalation of action items, risks and issues to senior management
- Coordinates projects with other on-going efforts
- Leads in the assessment of inter-project/initiative dependencies and gauges the financial impact and risk of the project
- Manages the project scope change process including the facilitation of issue/gap identification and resolution with business units, systems areas, channel managers and product managers
- Provides leadership for internal and external resource management activities including vendor management of distributed resources; leads/manages the negotiation and integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8-10 years of related experience with 3+ years of specialty in Project Management
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
