The Manager of Member Marketing develops and implements strategies to achieve Company objectives. Strategies may include changes and additions to program rewards and benefits and communications directed at M life members. The position is primarily responsible for creating and executing strategic marketing campaigns, proactive member communications, and brand / asset management of M life Rewards and associated programs.The Manager of Member Marketing will maintain a strong and productive relationship with corporate, property, partner, information technology, and vendor contacts. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Partners regularly with Direct Marketing and Regional Marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns and communications, overseeing creation of marketing plans that include strategies, measurable objectives, and tactics.
  • Develop approaches for acquisition of new members and engagement of current members, including triggered campaigns and personalized communications to drive member behavior and increase profitability.
  • Recommend & facilitate marketing strategy behind tier expiration and strategic loyalty promotions.
  • Create contact strategies for member communications and campaigns that integrate analytics, member preferences and knowledge of the customer life cycle.
  • Manages affiliated programs, such as M life Chairman’s Club and M life Curated Living.
  • Manage M life Rewards’ consumer facing information, including developing creative, updating and ordering collateral, adhering to brand standards, and ensuring digital content is current and effective (i.e. website, mobile app, digital screens).
  • Collaborate with other teams such as eCommerce, Direct Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Social Media to effectively market and promote M life Rewards.
  • Evaluate programs on an ongoing basis by interpreting data, identifying trends, and making actionable recommendations for continual improvement. Review loyalty reporting and analytics ensuring adherence to performance targets.
  • Oversee creation of project plans and manage the implementation of select departmental initiatives and assigned projects. Tracks and prioritizes issues regarding the loyalty program and ensures resolution.
  • Make recommendations to increase profitability and engagement by evaluating new opportunities for the M life loyalty program including rewards, benefits, M life Moments, promotions, programs, and messaging.
  • Partners and collaborates with property, corporate, and partner contacts to ensure deadlines are met. Work cross functionally with loyalty marketing counterparts, corporate and property divisions to close responsibility gaps and strive toward a best in class program.
  • Performs all other job related duties as requested.

Required:

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in Hotel Administration, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent education and work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in one of the following fields: loyalty marketing, gaming industry, marketing, hospitality, or related field.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.       

Preferred:

  • Experience working within a large loyalty program.
  • Experience in brand management, advertising, marketing or consumer communications for large brand.
  • Specialized knowledge of multiple functional areas including loyalty, CRM, analytics, marketing, operations, technology, e-commerce, casino, finance, promotions, events, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with IGT Patron Management and SQL Server.
  • Experience working with and leading project teams.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
