Role Overview:

This individual will work closely with the Director, Media Strategy & Operations to manage all financial and operational reporting for the NAM Media department. This includes understanding and working through specific financial exercises for clients (both internal and external). S/he will develop, implement and maintain various processes and financial models to drive efficiency and accuracy of workflow. This individual will recommend and document process changes and ensure audit compliance. S/he will collaborate with technology and lead systems development and improvement. Spearhead all contract logistics and Media related Accounts Payableprocesses.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly close activities (e.g. accruals)
  • Manage 1 or more direct reports
  • Manage Contract renewal process including database updating and financial analysis (kpi’s)
  • Oversee all financial analysis of media spend
  • Responsible for circulation related data integrity
  • Collaborate & lead IT on all development and enhancement projects related to Media Operations department
  • Lead Media team interaction with Accounts Payable in resolving vendor inquiries/disputes
  • Ad Hoc analysis and reporting

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years experience
  • Advanced analytic skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel (e.g. VLoopkup, Pivot tables, Macros, etc…)
  • Accounting / Finance degree
  • Print Circulation experiencepreferred
  • Process improvement driven
  • Flexibility to work from either NYC or Wilton, CT - travel to either office as needed (10%-20%)
