Job Purpose

Support the development and execution strategic marketing programs to address opportunities facing the Investment businesses.

This position will maintain a dedicated focus on ensuring an integrated approach to the marketing planning process by working closely with key internal and external partners to create national marketing campaigns, launch new products and break into new markets.

Strong project management is required with a focus on supporting the delivery of customer centric marketing programs on time and on budget.

Key Accountabilities

1. Marketing Planning and Execution:

  • Support two Senior Managers in the development of marketing plans to support the Investments and businesses
  • Drive a collaborative planning process with marketing partners across the Marketing ecosystem
  • Ensure marketing programs reflect integration of all marketing channels which leads to effective and focused delivery of key messaging to the consumer
  • Executing the mass advertising components of all programs and plans while ensuring creative alignment across all mediums
  • Flawlessly execute key initiatives that increase credibility and raise awareness among existing and new customers while driving trial and loyalty purchasing for investments and insurance products
  • Develop and project manage marketing communications programs

2. Customer Focused Marketing Programs:

  • Act as the “voice of the customer” and ensure key consumer insights and customer needs are being considered
  • Recommend market research where necessary to ensure marketing programs are relevant and consistent with customer and Bank needs

3. Project Management:

  • Effectively manage multiple projects of vast scope, strategic impact and complexity and deliver projects on strategy, on time, on budget

4. Budget Management and Reporting:

  • Assist in the development and recommendation of the annual marketing budgets supporting Investments
  • Assist in the management of marketing budget, track expenses and provide monthly updates

5. Business Line & Partner Relationship Management:

  • Support the Investment business line marketing requirements
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with BL partners, marketing colleagues and agencies
  • Work effectively within a cross-functional team environment that includes many reporting levels and varying skills/competencies
  • Be seen as a trusted advisor and a marketing subject matter expert
  • Proactively share best practices and learning with peers and partners
  • Work closely with internal marketing partners to develop integrated marketing plans

Functional Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience in financial services industry, specifically working in or with RetailInvestments
  • Sound knowledge of marketing disciplines with experience in Marketing Planning, Communications and Campaign Management
  • Strong communication skills combined with strong relationship-building abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate a positive and effective team environment
  • Strong project management skills

Experience

Minimum 4 years of experience in Marketing
