The Manager, Marketing Operations will be located in our Tacoma office, managing our Data Analyst and Campaign Operations teams. They will be working closely with our Santa Clara based Marketing team, so strong communication and collaboration skills will be key to success.

Responsibilities:

Analytics

  • Manage reporting and analysis for global programs, field marketing, events, and marketing funnel performance
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly campaign performance reports
  • Provide information and insights regarding campaign effectiveness to measure performance and supportbusiness decisions
  • Develop Marketing Dashboards to track key success metrics for senior executives
  • Create dashboards that measure the health of the marketing database and participate in company data quality / data enrichment / data cleansing initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent reporting methodology and definitions across Marketing, Sales and IT
  • Train key stakeholders on effective use of dashboards and reports
  • Work with marketing team to streamline operational reporting across multiple geographies, marketing channels and tactics
  • Evaluate new technologies to improve marketing team performance

Marketing Campaigns

  • Serve as the technical expert for marketing automation
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes in campaign creation and tracking for the campaign specialist team
  • Manage system processes in Marketo and the integration with Salesforce to ensure smooth and accurate lead handoff and troubleshoot flow issues
  • Build and maintain Marketo Lead Lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption in salesforce.com
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database, formulate and implement a data hygiene planworking closely with stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in database marketing and program execution, system administration for marketing automation
  • Expert skills in Marketo and SFDC 
  • Experience building reports and dashboards using Salesforce.com
  • Passionate about using data to tell a story
  • Experience in data visualization best practices to create compelling, actionable, dashboards and reports
  • Experience using SQL or similar tools to extract and combine data sets from multiple databases is highly desired
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Business Objects, Tableau, Informatica) is a plus
  • Ability to understand and interpret data, and present findings to general Marketing and Sales audiences
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, meeting management, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Expert skills in Excel and PowerPoint

Education: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Management or equivalent
