Specific Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of marketing professionals to deliver category objectives
- Partner with Category Strategy Managers to develop and execute cross-category strategies based on channel and/or innovation objectives
- Coordinate priorities and resources across product categories
- Deliver business objectives for the category including New Product Vitality, Sales Growth, Market Share and Operating Margin
- Own analysis and reporting to drive decision making new product scopes and business strategies
- Develop a complete understanding of the customer and competitive landscape including innovation, products, pricing, trends
- Create and lead engaging presentations to all levels internal and external that clearly articulate product information, business strategies, data and insights and other information
- Collaborate with the sales organization on product needs, sales samples and other requests to drive business growth
- Draft internal and external communications highlighting new product launches and sales tools
- Develop relationships with customers, sales, new product development, and other stakeholders that can contribute to the development of new product and business ideas
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, MBA preferred
- A minimum of 6 years previous related management experience with a proven track record of results required
- Proven ability to drive brand strategies
- Hands-on, detail oriented, energetic and results-driven
