JOB SUMMARY

Actively participate in the strategic planning and forecasting process across sales and marketing to ensure that goals, objectives and growth trends align to achieve maximum performance.Develop and execute an analytical framework that effectively revenue performance throughout the marketing and sales pipeline.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Develop subscriber and product forecasts and measure performance to plan
  • Create and manage the forecast and budget process for marketing activity, customer activity, and equipment needs and ensure all procedures and activities comply with corporate guidelines
  • Investigate marketing & subscriber performance to identify factors that drive performance, describe reasons for variance to plan and identify potential levers to accelerate growth
  • Work with cross functional teams to manage and present monthly, quarterly and yearly metrics on marketing performance using Business Intelligence (BI) Analytics, Excel or other tools when required
  • Provide sales and marketing management weekly and monthly summary reporting including but not limited to offer performance; customer, average revenue and revenue performance; yield and other metrics across all sales channels
  • Responsible for directing subscriber analysis – budget vs actual, net gain & churn, effective rates, and analysis of campaigns
  • Provides customer activity analysis for all products including growth trending, migration trending, churn trending, etc
  • Partner with marketing science team to identify market research, industry and competitive trends to leverage in the planning process and to explain marketing and customer trends
  • Build models to support key marketing activities and help drive business decisions
  • Assist in ad hoc information and reporting requests from the business unit leaders
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Process and systems thinker -comfortable working in complex environments, process oriented and able to conceptualize the entire lead and customer lifecycle
  • Service oriented - patient, great communicator, executive facing, customer focused
  • Detailed and analytical - understands numbers, data aware, understands the need for measurable processes, detail oriented, project manager
  • Passionate and a problem solver - enthusiastic about relevant topic or skill, pushes boundaries, intelligent, likes to learn, wants to be the best
  • Ability to translate detailed trends and statistics into executive-level reporting and presentations
  • Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret complex customer and revenue reports & information
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge of forecasting, performance analytics, and systems and procedures

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field

Related Work Experience

  • 5+ years of Marketing, Financial or related field
  • 2+ years of Budget and forecasting preparation or related experience
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI)/Analytics Tool (e.g., MicroStrategy or other BI reporting tool)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of cable television products and services

  • Office environment
  • Exposure to moderate level of noise
  • Some travel will be required.
