JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for operational management and oversight of the Magnet program, Nursing Professional Development functions and clinical and nursing educational oversight, Nurse residency program, nursing support functions, nursing quality reporting, nursing peer review and the nursing research program. Must be detail oriented and fastidious in managing responsibilities. Must demonstrate excellent communication and writing skills, a responsible and enthusiastic attitude, and a strong commitment to the tenants of Magnet. Must serve as a consultant and clinical resource to nursing, physicians and other health care providers, while supporting the goals and mission of Emory Healthcare.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Masters of Science in Nursing. Five years as a registered nurse. Previous leadership role preferred. Magnet program work strongly perferred.
