As a Manager Lead Revenue Accountant, you will serve as key finance contact for all contracts within an assigned client base and ensure contract revenue complies with GAAP, contract terms, conditions, and schedules that impact Cerner’s financial accounting. Key functions of the role will include but not limited to; overseeing the review of quarterly transactions and approve transactions up to defined threshold amount, managing complex client contracts by working with client-aligned associates to determine appropriate timelines for milestones and obtaining correct documentation for billing and revenue, and assist with corporate and statutory audit deliverables as it relates to contract revenue. People Management responsibilities include; managing routine associate situations, directing the work efforts and results of a team of associates, developing team goals and managing them for results, as well as developing associates through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting and development planning.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 5 years of Finance or Accounting work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Finance or Accounting revenue recognition work experience


  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
