The manager of the IT Asset Management team is responsible for maintaining effective IT asset management and end-of-life programs throughout Texas Capital Bank to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. The manager will oversee a team that is responsible for the daily activities associated with asset management, tracking and assignment. The manager is responsible for quality control processes throughout the asset lifecycle.


  • Direct oversight and responsibility of asset management team and processes
  • Maintain inventory and user/location assignment of IT hardware, software licenses, software subscriptions, and maintenance agreements
  • Maintain end-of-life (EOL) program for unsupported hardware and software
  • Work with Procurement and IT teams for purchase and receipt of newly purchased IT assets
  • Work with IT desktop and data center teams for disposal and recycling of EOL hardware
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory in the asset tracking/CMDB system (ServiceNow)
  • Maintain regulatory compliance (FFIEC)


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experiencerequired
  • 5+ years’ experience with IT asset management/tracking/inventory systems required, ServiceNow preferred
  • Strong understanding of end-user hardware required: workstations, monitors, printers, scanners
  • Strong understanding of end-user software subscriptions, licensing, and maintenance required: e.g., Windows, Office 365, Adobe
  • Strong understanding of data center hardware and maintenance agreements required: e.g., servers, network equipment, enterprise storage
  • Strong understanding of data center software subscriptions, licensing and maintenance required: e.g., Windows Server, SQL Server, VMware, Cisco, NetApp
  • Strong understanding of ITAM best practices and ITIL required
  • Good understanding of accounting practices required
  • Strong understanding of enterprise CMDB required
  • Ability to create and maintain effective processes necessary for asset management, tracking, reporting, and quality assurance required
  • Ability to develop and analyze hardware and software asset data for reporting to management and technical staff for compliance and budgetrequired
  • Good understanding of procurement process and its relationship to asset managementrequired
  • Good understanding of asset disposal and recycling required
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (SOX, FFIEC) preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows, Office, and computing hardware required
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Procurement and IT teams to perform asset management tasks
  • Good experience directly managing asset management team and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication required
  • Minimal travelrequired
