Under the general direction of IT Director, the IT Manager provides the Information Management division with operational management and oversight for assigned technical software/hardware and staff. They provide leadership to staff, establishing and ensuring adherence to standards of systems development, maintenance, and support. The IT manager leads efforts to provide continuous availability of assigned systems that are crucial to the overall hospital operations. They coordinate, plan and supervise the performance of staff and resources to ensure completion of assigned duties.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Health Care; or an equivalent combinationof education and work experience

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team of Information Systems professionals in an integrated environment, overseeing system selection, design, build, validation, implementation, upgrades and production support.
Effectively work with all levels of management, staff, consultants, clinicians,vendors andphysicians
Communicate effectively, clearly, accurately and concisely, verbally and in writing
Interpret functional and/or technical specifications and to communicate technical issues to programmers and non-technical users/clients
Delegate and achieve organizational results with and throughout all levels of the organization. Effective personal skills.

Three years of experience in fundamentals of hospital organization, management techniques, JCAHO, HIPAA and Title 22 requirements. Three years of experience in information systems principles and practices. Implementation experience withprevious integrated health care information systems with emphasis on Clinical/Financial, ERP/EMR applications/systems (EPIC, Meditech, People Soft, etc.)
Demonstrated proficient computer skills across multiple platforms. Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools.
Must possess a high level of integrity and trust and be capable of maintaining confidential information. Must have a high level of self-motivation and direction and possess excellent customer service orientation.
Master's degree in related field
Experience in Project Management, SDLC and ITIL process methodologies
