Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Supervises a team of 5 to 6 people
  • Reviews and approves new customer quote or quote over $100K in revenue
  • Collaborates with Regional Sales Directors, Field Account Managers, to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Assists Regional Sales Director on training new Field Account Manager
  • Establishes and maintains an ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers
  • Provides excellent Customer Service by responding to information requests, troubleshooting account issues or order management issues.
  • Interacts with Presale Engineers to provide the best IT Solutions to customers
  • Interacts with existing customers and potential customers, primarily by phone and email, generate sales quotations, and place sales orders
  • Provides high level administrative support to Field Account Managers(s)
  • Completes Customer Order Management, including: working with the Purchasing & Customers Service Teams for order placement and tracking, corresponding with the Logistics Team and Project Managers for order shipment and/or staging orders, and daily communication with the customer throughout the order and delivery process
  • Provides excellent Customer Service by responding to information requests, troubleshooting account issues or order management issues
  • Assists in creating RFP responses to potential clients
  • Submits Deal Registration with vendors
  • Manages Deployment Orders

Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet customers to maintain good relationship
  • Meet vendors to keep up on new vendor program
  • Responsible for making hiring decision and train new employee
  • Conduct annual performance for the team members
  • Responsible for management of the team including coaching and counselling

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a related field; sales, administrative, and/or customer service field is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Must have the ability to absorb technical information and execute
  • Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Able to perform complex calculations and mathematical figures
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business related subject preferred
  • 3 years supervisory experience
