Pharmacy Services supports clinicians and physicians by providing accurate and timely pharmaceutical care and education. We are currently seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Manager to lead inpatient operations at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC), the 685-bed flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers. CRMC is home to the only Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive burn center in the Valley serving 2.5 million people within 9 counties. The Inpatient Pharmacy Manager is responsible for implementing and coordinating the clinical and operational activities associated with providing high quality pharmaceutical care at Community Regional Medical Center. The incumbent oversees the activities of inpatient pharmacists and is responsible for the department's strategic clinical, professional, and administrative activities. As the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC), this position manages departmental activities, including policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. The Inpatient Pharmacy Manager also manages staffing and scheduling functions and implements process improvement methods.


Experience and education minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience supervising or managing pharmacy and therapeutic services in an acute care setting.

License and certification minimum requirements:

  • Valid State of California Pharmacist license.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Doctorate of Pharmacy degree (Pharm D).
  • Completion of an ASHP residency.
  • Certification from the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties.
