Manages the information technology department/unit assigned. Implements and maintains policies and goals that support the organization's IT needs. Ensures proper functioning of the information processing system and oversees necessary upgrades. Helps business operations groups utilize information systems to improve their efficiency. Ensures computer equipment, hardware, and software are updated to meet organizational needs. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


  • Collaborates with supporting teams to ensure successful execution of organizational goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead and evolve best practices and consistent business analysis processes and tools
  • Proven track record of working closely with engineering teams in a scrum environment
  • Manages team of business analysts and instills accountability, encourages, empowers, motivates, trains, and mentors team members to maximize their abilities
  • Excellent skills in maintaining, collaborating and supporting relationships at all levels across the organization
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, mentors, and monitors progress of the team
  • Establishes and implements individual and team priorities, performance goals and objectives to ensure completion of responsibility for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Provides training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and gives honest and open feedback to aid in the development of talent
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Manages and responds to escalation/conflict issues through to resolution
  • Participates in the planning/estimating of projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Acts as a resource between area of responsibility and stakeholders to ensure more complex technical requirements, needs and solutions are effectively communicated and understood by all parties




  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years equivalent work experience in the field or in a related area (Minimum Required)


  • 2+ years managerial, supervisory, or demonstrated leadership experience (Required)
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and Scrum ceremonies
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry, medical records and the content within, healthcare quality and reporting, HEDIS
  • Proven track record of project delivery
