You will be based in the Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Miami or Tampa office and will work collaboratively with North America (NA) HR leadership, the Southern Office (SO) Administrative Leadership Team, and the full NA HR community. As a contributing member of the management team, you will play a leadership role in the HR function in North America.
You will lead the SO HR team and will recruit, develop, and evaluate team members. You will provide efficient and effective on-site administration and support for all SO colleagues on HR policies and lifecycle events from onboarding to departures.
You will oversee a full range of HR activities in support of more than 1200 colleagues across five locations, serving as a trusted advisor on people-related risk while focusing on delivering exceptional support to our colleagues.
In this role, you will manage compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including applicable state laws, and you will manage internal audits of the HR function. You will also lead recruiting, evaluation and compensation processes for colleagues as well as oversee office implementation of benefits programs.
HR related risk issues that you will manage include personal conduct, performance remediation, leaves of absence (e.g., health leaves, personal leaves), immigration and mobility. You will lead analyses and projects as part of this group and will conduct personal conduct reviews when necessary.
Lastly, you will have an opportunity to be an active and contributing member of the NA HR managers group and SO Administrative Leadership Team.
